HOWO Parts: Match the OEM Reference to the Vehicle Before Ordering

LAIYI AUTO editorial · Published

An inquiry that says only “HOWO spare part” leaves the supplier to resolve several unknowns. Start with the complete requested number and evidence from the actual truck. The goal is a checkable proposal, not a fast guess based on a familiar model name.

1. Record the actual configuration

Collect the vehicle model, VIN or chassis number and the relevant assembly markings. A cab, brake-system component, sensor and gearbox part require different identification details. Explain where the component is used and what information is still missing.

A photograph of a truck does not identify every installed assembly. Use readable markings or confirmed vehicle documentation for the component being discussed.

2. Preserve the complete part number

Copy the printed number exactly, including letters, separators and suffixes. Keep an untouched photograph as the reference when transcribing. If a supplier proposes a cross-reference, put that number in a separate offered-reference column.

Do not shorten a part number merely because a search returns more results. A partial match is a lead to review, not a confirmed substitute.

3. Add component-specific evidence

For electrical parts, include connector and label photographs and the stated specification. For housings or mechanical parts, include mounting views and relevant measured dimensions. Ask a qualified technician to determine the measurements needed for the particular repair.

  • Requested OEM and proposed substitute kept separately.
  • Truck and relevant assembly identification.
  • Photos named with the same list line ID.
  • Quantity and genuine/aftermarket preference.

4. Review SINOTRUK catalog results

Use the SINOTRUK brand page or OEM search on LAIYI. Compare the actual product record, not only the result title. The catalog preserves source data and does not make every SINOTRUK-labeled item applicable to every HOWO truck.

For several parts, upload a numbered list. Clearly mark positions without a confirmed OEM instead of assigning a number from a similar listing.

5. Ask for a line-by-line confirmation

The quotation should repeat the offered part number, manufacturer or supply option, quantity, application basis and availability estimate. Resolve differences before agreeing to an order. LAIYI's online catalog is an inquiry tool and does not show guaranteed live stock.
