1. Put the supply option in writing

Ask whether the quotation is for a manufacturer-branded genuine part, a named aftermarket product or another clearly described option. Keep that description on each quotation line. The words “OEM quality” do not identify a manufacturer or establish that a product is genuine.

2. Request evidence for the offered batch
