1. Record the complete number before searching
Photograph the label or stamping and copy every letter, digit, separator and suffix. Keep the original photograph next to the typed number. Characters such as O and 0 or I and 1 can be hard to distinguish on a worn label.
If several numbers are visible, record them separately and say where each was found. A casting mark, supplier reference or number from an old invoice may need further identification. Do not silently remove a suffix to make a search return more results.
- A close-up of the marking and a wider photograph of the complete part.
- The original number, including any prefix or suffix.
- The source of the number: label, catalog, invoice or supplier list.
2. Search by number, then compare the result
Enter the complete number in the LAIYI parts search. Check the OEM field and brand on the result, then open the product page and compare the photographs and description with the part you need.
For example, 712W06303-0006 is a number in the current LAIYI catalog. It can be used to try the search workflow; it is not a recommendation for a particular truck. If there is no result, preserve your original number and send it with photographs. An absent catalog result does not prove that a part cannot be sourced.
3. Confirm the truck and component information
A number is a reference to investigate, not permission to assume that two similar-looking parts are interchangeable. Supply the truck brand, model and VIN or chassis number where available. For engine or transmission parts, include the component model and nameplate photograph.
Ask the supplier to check the application and any replacement or superseded number against appropriate manufacturer information. SHACMAN, for example, describes electronic parts catalogs and vehicle BOM analysis among its own parts tools. Access to those tools and a confirmed application should not be assumed from a public website listing.
- Truck brand, model and VIN/chassis number, if available.
- Engine, transmission or axle identification relevant to the request.
- Photographs, installation position and important dimensions when identification is uncertain.
4. Separate part identification from the supply option
Ask whether the quotation is for a genuine part or an aftermarket alternative, and request the offered brand or manufacturer to be stated. The same reference number in an advertisement does not establish who made the supplied item.
Keep confirmation of application, offered specification, quantity, price basis, availability and lead time in the written quotation. Compare those details before comparing price alone. Do not treat a catalog photograph as proof of the current shipment or packaging.
5. Prepare an RFQ that can be checked
For a short request, collect the catalog items in the RFQ basket and add the missing details in your notes. For several positions, upload the purchasing list you already have. Use one line per requested item and keep uncertain numbers clearly marked.
State quantities and units, the preferred supply option and destination country or city. If a number is missing, write “number not confirmed” rather than inventing one. Attach the relevant photographs or refer to them by line number. Share vehicle information through the inquiry channel, not in a public comment.
Line 1 | OEM: 712W06303-0006 | Qty: 2 pcs Truck model / VIN: to be provided for confirmation Supply preference: genuine or aftermarket — specify in quotation Destination: country and city Photos / notes: attach marking and complete-part photos
6. Review the confirmation before placing an order
Check the offered number, application, specification and quantity against your request. Resolve substitutions, unclear suffixes and missing photographs before approving the quotation. A search result is the beginning of that check, not its conclusion.
On chntruckparts.com you can search by OEM / Part Number, send an RFQ or upload a parts list for human follow-up. Catalog entries do not promise live stock, a fixed delivery date or guaranteed compatibility. Those points need confirmation for the actual request.
Manufacturer reference
The manufacturer reference explains its own parts tools. LAIYI's checklist is practical purchasing guidance; it does not certify fitment or dealer status.
